Orthopedic instruments manufactured by Surgical Star, Sialkot
Surgical Star is a Sialkot-based orthopedic instruments manufacturer and supplier producing a complete orthopedic range — 22 patterns forged from German-grade AISI 420 and 316L surgical stainless steel. Every instrument is made under ISO 13485 quality management, CE-marked to EU MDR 2017/745 and backed by US FDA establishment registration, and each can be produced under your own brand as an OEM / private-label line with low MOQs and a sample approved before every bulk run.

Sialkot manufactures an estimated one-fifth of the world’s handheld surgical instruments, and our in-house forging-to-finishing control means your orthopedic instruments ship mirror- or satin-finished, passivated, corrosion-resistant and fully autoclavable — ready for orthopedic distributors, private-label brands and trauma centres in the USA, UK, EU and the Gulf.

Orthopedic Instruments We Manufacture

Our orthopedic range covers the patterns distributors, private-label brands and procurement buyers ask for most — from everyday reference patterns to specialty tools ordered by name. With 22 orthopedic instruments in the catalog you can build a complete private-label line from a single certified factory. Select an instrument for specifications, variants and OEM options:

Instrument Families in Our Orthopedic Range

A working orthopedic catalog spans several functional families, and Surgical Star forges every one of them in-house so you can source the whole range from a single certified factory:

  • Bone cutting — Osteotomes, chisels, gouges and bone cutters hardened to hold an edge through dense cortical bone.
  • Rongeurs & nibblers — Luer, Stille-Luer and Kerrison bone rongeurs with strong, cleanly shearing jaws.
  • Periosteal & elevators — Key, Cobb and Langenbeck periosteal elevators in graduated widths.
  • Drills, reamers & fixation — Bone drills, reamers, depth gauges, screwdrivers and plate benders for fixation work.

Each family is available in mirror or satin finish, in standard sizes or fully custom geometry, and every unit carries your laser-marked branding. Standardising an entire orthopedic line on one manufacturer keeps finish, marking and sizing consistent across your catalog — difficult to achieve when you split orders across trading houses.

Applications Across Orthopedic

Our orthopedic instruments are built for orthopedic distributors, private-label brands and trauma centres supplying orthopedic and trauma theatres, arthroplasty and fracture fixation, and spinal and hand surgery. Because we manufacture the whole range in-house, you can consolidate a full orthopedic catalog with one factory and one set of certificates rather than juggling multiple trading houses. Standard reference patterns are already tooled; bespoke orthopedic instruments are made from your drawings or samples.

Why Distributors Choose Surgical Star for Orthopedic Instruments

  • One factory, full range — consolidate your orthopedic catalog with a single certified supplier.
  • German-grade steel — AISI 420 / 316L, passivated, autoclavable, ASTM F899.
  • True private label — laser logo marking, your catalog numbers, branded packaging.
  • Low MOQ, sample first — launch a line without a large first order; approve before bulk.
  • Direct factory pricing — volume-tiered, no trading-house middlemen.
  • Documentation included — ISO 13485, CE, FDA and material certificates for your market.

Steel, Finishing & Quality

Orthopedic instruments face the hardest tissue in surgery. Osteotomes, chisels and bone cutters are forged from AISI 420 and heat-treated to an orthopedic working hardness, then Rockwell-tested batch by batch so the edge survives dense cortical bone without chipping. Retractors and depth gauges use 316L, where corrosion resistance outweighs hardness.

Stainless selection across the orthopedic range follows the working duty: German-grade AISI 420 where hardness matters, 316L where corrosion resistance does. All material meets ASTM F899, and each batch is hardness-tested, dimension-checked and visually inspected in-house. Third-party inspection is welcome before dispatch. Because we run the whole sequence in-house in Sialkot rather than subcontracting stages, the instrument you approve as a sample is the instrument you keep receiving.

Quality Control in the Orthopedic Range

Impact and leverage instruments are proof-loaded rather than visually inspected. The blade-to-handle junction on osteotomes is fatigue-tested because repeated mallet strikes concentrate stress there, and mallet head retention is tested because a head that loosens mid-procedure is both a contamination and an injury risk.

OEM & True Private Label

Private label is the core of what we do with this range. Your brand is laser-marked on every orthopedic instrument, your catalog numbers applied, your packaging used — built to your drawings or reverse-engineered from a sample you send, and always sampled before bulk. New-brand-friendly MOQs and volume-tiered pricing let you launch a orthopedic line without a large first order. See how OEM & private label works →

Certifications & Compliance

Our quality file is ISO 13485, our EU route is CE marking under EU MDR 2017/745, and our facility holds US FDA establishment registration. Every shipment can carry a certificate of conformity and the ASTM F899 material certificate for the grade actually used. Review our certifications →

From Tech Pack to Delivered Order

  1. Enquiry & quote — send your instrument list, drawings or samples; we quote steel grade, finish, MOQ and lead time.
  2. Sample & approval — we produce a branded pre-production sample for your approval.
  3. Bulk production & QC — forging to finishing in-house with hardness testing and passivation.
  4. Branded packing & DDP — packed in your boxes and shipped door-to-door, duty paid.

Ordering, MOQ & Lead Time

Minimum order quantities for orthopedic instruments are kept low and new-brand-friendly, and vary with the instrument, finish and branding you choose. Pricing is quoted direct from the factory and tiered by volume, so per-unit cost falls as your order grows.

Once your branded sample is signed off, expect about four to six weeks to bulk dispatch, shipped DDP with customs documentation prepared at our end. Your approved sample stays the reference for every subsequent run.

Orthopedic buyers order across an unusually wide range at once — cutting, holding, retracting and measuring instruments all appear in a single fixation set. Depth gauges and reduction forceps are ordered in multiples because several are used simultaneously in one procedure.

Whether you are launching your first orthopedic line or consolidating suppliers into one certified factory, you deal directly with the people who forge and finish your instruments. Explore the full surgical instruments manufacturer catalog, or start with a free quote.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you harden bone-cutting instruments?

Osteotomes, chisels and cutters are forged from AISI 420, heat-treated to an orthopedic working hardness and Rockwell-tested batch by batch, so the edge survives dense cortical bone without chipping.

What is your minimum order quantity?

MOQs are kept low and new-brand friendly and vary by instrument, finish and branding. Send your pattern list and we quote a realistic minimum with volume-tiered, direct-factory pricing — and a sample approved before any bulk run.
