Apexo Elevators — Pattern and Clinical Use
The Apexo is built for the apical third of the root. Its blade is long, slender and tapered so it can be worked down alongside a root apex that has fractured and remains deep in the socket — a situation where a wider elevator simply will not fit. The paired left and right patterns allow approach from either side of the socket.
Apical root removal puts a long, slender blade under leverage at its weakest point, so blade temper matters more here than on stouter elevator patterns. The steel must flex slightly rather than snap.

Material, Finish and Quality Control
We forge Apexo elevators from AISI 420 martensitic stainless. Blade temper is verified so the slender blade flexes slightly under leverage rather than snapping at the apex of the socket. Each batch passes Rockwell hardness testing, dimensional checks on slender blade temper under leverage, and visual inspection under our ISO 13485 system before passivation and final finishing. Mirror and satin finishes are both available — satin is usually specified where glare under operating lights is a concern.

Apexo elevators sell into oral-surgery and surgical-extraction kits and are stocked as left/right pairs. They are a specialist addition once a distributor carries the main elevator range.
