Warwick-James Elevators — Pattern and Clinical Use
The Warwick James set is used where a Coupland would be too coarse. The blades are noticeably finer, which suits luxating small roots, deciduous teeth and fragments in confined spaces. The straight pattern works directly, while the curved left and right patterns reach around roots that a straight blade cannot approach, particularly in the posterior arch.
The three instruments are always sold and used as a set, and the curved pair must be true mirror images. A left and right that do not mirror correctly means one side of the arch is served worse than the other.

Each batch passes Rockwell hardness testing, dimensional checks on left/right mirror accuracy, and visual inspection under our ISO 13485 system before passivation and final finishing. Mirror and satin finishes are both available — satin is usually specified where glare under operating lights is a concern.
