Backhaus Towel Clamps — Pattern and Clinical Use
The Backhaus is the reference towel clamp. Its two sharp curved points cross and penetrate the drape, and the ratchet locks them closed so the drape field stays fixed for the whole procedure. The curve of the points is what lets them pass through layered drape material and lock without tearing it, and the ratchet lets the scrub team apply them one-handed.
