Drenching delivers anthelmintics, minerals and other oral medication accurately to individual animals. The gun draws a set dose from a backpack or bottle and delivers it over the back of the tongue via a curved nozzle. Dose accuracy is the point — under-dosing anthelmintics is a recognised driver of resistance, so a gun that delivers inconsistent volumes has consequences beyond the single animal.
The dose-adjustment mechanism and valve seals determine accuracy, and both are serviceable wear items. Nozzle shape is species-specific: sheep nozzles are shorter and finer than cattle patterns.

Material, Finish and Quality Control

Each batch passes Rockwell hardness testing, dimensional checks on delivered volume against dial setting, and visual inspection under our ISO 13485 system before passivation and final finishing. Mirror and satin finishes are both available — satin is usually specified where glare under operating lights is a concern.
