Frazier Suction Tubes — Pattern and Clinical Use
The Frazier is the fine-field suction tip. Its slim angled shaft reaches into confined spaces such as the nasal cavity, ear or a neurosurgical field, and the hole in the handle lets the operator regulate suction with a thumb — covering it applies full suction, lifting the thumb releases it instantly. That control matters when suctioning near delicate structures where continuous full suction would be hazardous.
Fraziers are specified by French gauge, commonly 7 Fr through 12 Fr. Because the lumen is narrow, bore finish and a matching stylet for clearing blockages are more important on this pattern than on any other suction instrument.

Material, Finish and Quality Control
We forge Frazier suction tubes from 316L austenitic stainless. The narrow lumen is gauged and deburred, and each tube is checked against its matching stylet so blockages can be cleared in use. Each batch passes Rockwell hardness testing, dimensional checks on lumen gauge and stylet fit, and visual inspection under our ISO 13485 system before passivation and final finishing. Mirror and satin finishes are both available — satin is usually specified where glare under operating lights is a concern.
