Why can’t ordinary clippers cut podiatric nails?
Thickened, dystrophic nails need concentrated shearing force. Ordinary clippers crush and split the nail plate rather than cutting it cleanly.
What is the difference between double and barrel spring?
Both reopen the jaws between cuts. Barrel springs are more compact and generate high force; double springs are simple and very reliable.
Concave or straight jaws?
